Reviews: Tokyo: JDM Scene Tour with Daikoku PA & Tokyo Tower

Unforgettable impressions and emotions are guaranteed. This is the kind of experience that can be called a must-do. Evening Tokyo and cool cars - the best combination. We met at the meeting point, divided into groups, and set off. We drove through Tokyo's iconic districts and sites. There was plenty of time to browse, and just enough time for shopping, just a keychain or a hat (at the first stop, A-PIT, there was certainly not enough time for shopping, but this isn't a shopping tour, heh). Great guys, they know how to organize a fun time. At the end, they dropped us off at our hotels, which was very nice, since it was already a bit late for the subway. At first, when I read that the trip would be a WHOLE 4 hours, I thought that was too long, but by the end of the trip, the only thing on my mind was, "ONLY 4 hours, I really want more ;^(((((".
Reviews: Classic Panoramic Day Trip to Mount Fuji: Arakurayama Asami Park + Lake Kawaguchi + Lake Yamanaka + Oshino Hakkai + Instagram-famous Lawson Convenience Store + Heavenly Ladder Town · Hikawa Clock Shop

It was a great day, a perfect experience. The driver was punctual, the itinerary was well-planned, and everyone was on time. Mount Fuji is truly beautiful. The drive from Tokyo took only 1 hour and 40 minutes without traffic. We could see the silhouette of Mount Fuji shortly after leaving Tokyo – it was so beautiful, and the weather was perfect! I highly recommend Lake Yamanaka. The swans are absolutely gorgeous. I suggest going early in the morning so that Mount Fuji isn't backlit in photos. The swan viewing area is fenced off, and you need to pay for swan food. If several people share, you can pay for one portion, which is very cheap and produces stunning photos! Arakurayama Sengen Park requires a hike, but thankfully there's a gentle slope leading up to the summit in about 20 minutes. The scenery is beautiful. The Nikkawa Clock Shop offers a classic photo spot where you can see the massive Mount Fuji appear at the end of the street – truly spectacular.
Reviews: Tokyo Mount Fuji Day Tour: Scenic Views of Fuji's Twin Lakes & Outlet Shopping [Optional Small Group of 9]

Upon arriving in Japan, I hastily decided to join a small tour group on Wednesday. I wanted to visit both an outlet mall and Mount Fuji, and after much deliberation, I chose this tour. The meeting point was the Washington Hotel, not far from my accommodation in Shinjuku. The driver was incredibly friendly and patiently explained the sights we encountered along the way. The outlet mall was huge; two hours might not have been enough. However, you can't have your cake and eat it too, so I couldn't skip Mount Fuji. The view of Mount Fuji from the outlet mall was absolutely perfect. In the afternoon, we also visited the Golden Torii Gate, Lake Yamanaka, and Lake Kawaguchi. We fed the geese, bought some limited-edition Mount Fuji items, and even visited a Lawson convenience store. The whole trip was surprisingly relaxing, making it especially suitable for families with elderly members.
Reviews: Hakone Owakudani, Lake Ashi, Lake Yamanaka, free Hakone cable car, optional 9-person small group transfer

Winter days are short and the day gets dark early, so the itinerary was quite rushed. We arrived in Hakone in the morning and didn't get to visit the art museum. We rushed to Lake Yamanaka around 3 PM to take photos of Mount Fuji with its backlighting. The driver was a Chinese woman who had lived in Japan for over 20 years. She drove steadily and chatted with us the whole way, which was very nice. It was a small group of 9 people, but that day it was just our family of 4, which was great. 👍
