The whole process was very smooth, the time was well managed, and the driver drove very steadily. When we arrived at the Forget-Me-Not Forest, we were truly amazed. I never imagined that there was such a place in the natural landscape. The ancient trees in the pine forest stream have stood firm for thousands of years. I was very moved.โ

I joined this carpooling trip with my mom, and the hotel pick-up and drop-off was super convenient! We could also drop off at any place we wanted in the evening, like the night market. Our driver and guide, Da Luo, was incredibly friendly; he didn't smoke or chew betel nut, and the car was very comfortable with no unpleasant smells. Da Luo was also a very safe driver. I was so tired in the morning that I slept all the way to the scenic area entrance โ much more comfortable than sleeping in the hotel! On the return trip, Da Luo also shared the history of the local indigenous people with us, which was very informative ๐. Because I was traveling with my mom, we needed to find restrooms quite often, and Da Luo was always there to tell us where we could find one โ very elder-friendly! I highly recommend it for anyone traveling with elders!
We went in January, but due to the season, there were no flowers, so we skipped Little Switzerland. I don't know why, but we also skipped the Cingjing Skywalk, which was a bit of a shame.
Sun Moon Lake was beautiful, and the captain was very witty and humorous, haha. If possible, I'd like to come back in March to see the cherry blossoms ๐ธ and take the cable car to the Formosan Aboriginal Cultural Village. Qingjing Farm is beautiful, and the sheep are adorable, but feeding them was terrifying! After feeding one, I was chased by five sheep โ I felt so helpless. Be careful if you want to feed the sheepโฆ๐ฅฒ The Mongolian equestrian show at 3:45 PM at the end of the trip is also worth seeing. If you plan to buy anything, do it before the show, as the shops close after the show.
Overall, I was very satisfied with the trip; it saved me a lot of trouble with transportation. Thumbs up! ๐โ
