We visited in November on a weekday. Lesser crowd and the weather was perfect, sunny between 10°C & 15°C. Our tour came with a guide who got us the tickets and planned the hiking routes, covering every "tourist-must-see" parts of the mountain.
The buffet lunch recommended by the guide at ¥98/pax up on the mountains is a really good deal too.
Huangshan is NO JOKE. The 8km up and down the steps lasted for almost 6 hours, excluding the one-way 20mins shuttle bus ride & one-way 10mins cable car ride. At the end of the tour our legs were not cooperative anymore.
Besides the breathtaking views, it was also heartbreaking to see elderly potters carrying approximately 180 catties (about 108kg!) of goods up and down the mountains. They are literally breaking their backs 😭! Some even stopped and asked passers-by for water / food. Would forming a bucket brigade or a human chain be workable?★

It was an amazing experience, so organized and we left on time. Divina was the best, she contacted me the day before the trip, she always responded to my messages promptly. I was traveling solo so she recommended the perfect route for me, she even helped me when I was lost up there. Will definitely book again with you in October if I visit again as she recommended the view will be amazing! Even after we returned, she helped me find the metro station and helped me get the ticket. Xièxie Ni Divina ♥️!★
