Due to a scheduling fluke, I had the privilege of being the only person on my tour. Dildora is warm, open, and very knowledgeable about so many aspects of Detroit. Her passion for these tours is very evident, and we covered a lot of ground in a short amount of time. I was very inspired and energized by all of the incredible architecture that we visited—especially when you see images of what these buildings looked like just 10-20 years ago. Downtown Detroit is a true preservation success story, and this tour is a must for anyone visiting!

This solo walking tour was perfect for us. Very clear and interesting for a first time in Detroit. We stayed at the hotel Fort Pontchartrain and the tour was close to that location. We loved starting with a Buddy’s pizza and being able to stop the audio and enjoy the locations and re-listen if we missed something or got slightly lost. The tour narrator and the material was very interesting. Would recommend this tour in a heartbeat especially since our in person tour that I had pre booked was cancelled because of the weather. This was much easier than trying to hear and keep track of a group too. Very grateful for this option on our thanksgiving trip.
