Reviews: Half-Day Hangzhou West Lake Tour [Cruise to Three Pools Mirroring the Moon Island + Enjoy Ten Scenes of West Lake + Live Guide]
Guest User2026-03-14
For first-time visitors to West Lake, I highly recommend joining a small group tour of 10! Luckily, everyone else in our group cancelled, so the two of us could go! The entire West Lake is 21 kilometers long, and it's difficult to appreciate every view on foot. Then we took a boat to Three Pools Mirroring the Moon Island via a fast route, avoiding the queues! Our guide, Xiao Xu, was very talkative and gentle, providing detailed explanations, and the itinerary wasn't too rushed. A fantastic experience!
Reviews: Hangzhou + Xixi National Wetland Park + Longjing Village One-day Tour [5A Wetland Park + Battery Boat Tour Original Ecological Landscape + Pure Fun Travel + Small Group of 10 People]

It was a very happy and fulfilling day! Every place we visited was beautiful and photogenic! The rowing boats at Xixi Wetland were tranquil and serene, offering a different experience from those on West Lake. Gaozhuang resembled a Suzhou garden, but with far fewer people, making for stunning photos. The lunch spot I recommended was delicious, beautifully situated, and reasonably priced. Our guide, Liu, led the way, took photos for us, and even drove us around in his luxury car – it was all very peaceful. The afternoon's tea-picking activity was my favorite part; the tea costumes were unique, and the photographer was incredibly skilled – the soothing greenery and the fragrant Longjing tea... I highly recommend it!
Reviews: Hangzhou West Lake Longjing Village Tea Farmer Experience Half-Day Tour [Optional Private Transfer + Song Dynasty Tea Whisking + Tea Roasting & Tasting]
Guest User2026-04-07
This was a highlight of my Hangzhou trip. We arrived at the meeting point early in the morning and waited for the staff to lead us to a private tea garden for tea picking. The staff first gave us straw hats and bamboo baskets so we could put the picked tea leaves into the baskets. Perhaps because there were so many tour groups, even though we were the first group to pick that day, many tea bushes had already been completely stripped bare. We were also looking forward to the tea-frying experience, but it turned out the staff just casually fried the tea a couple of times before immediately moving on to the tea-selling segment. Aside from the tea-picking activity, the whole process was extremely boring. If you're bothered by this, you might want to think twice before choosing this option.
