Reviews: Tainan highlights one-day tour with shared transportation [Depart from Kaohsiung | Guided tour in Chinese/English/Korean]

Even if it weren't for this tour, you absolutely must go to the Chimei Museum!!!! We went with our family, and when everyone said, "Where was the best place in Kaohsiung?", it was the Chimei Museum... The building and the walking course were sooooo pretty..ㅎㅎ Even if you don't go in, the walking course was so pretty, and there's a coffee shop inside~ You need cash because the two must-visit places definitely collect money. I think it was 250 NTD per person. And most places you go during lunch time only accept cash, so bring cash~~ The guide was Korean, and he was very kind and gentle~ But when I took a Grab with Formosa Boulevard Station Exit 6, it only showed Formosa Boulevard Station. The driver said Exit 6 wasn't allowed or something... If you happen to end up getting off at Exit 2 like us, don't panic, just go inside to the underground station and get off at Exit 6.
Reviews: Half-Day Tour of the Beijing Forbidden City [Including Tickets and Free Treasure Hall Ticket] Multiple Group Types / Chinese/English Guided Tour
Guest User2026-01-03
Our tour guide, Li Xue, was very professional and polite. Her explanations were engaging and clear, and she could describe the architecture of the Forbidden City, down to every brick and tile, in great detail, sharing many interesting stories. She also interacted with the group members during her explanations. Our family was very satisfied. I highly recommend hiring a guided tour when visiting the Forbidden City.
Reviews: Forbidden City,Treasure Museum Small Group Tour (Optional English,Spanish,Russian Guide)

The tour includes an entrance ticket to the Forbidden City and the Treasure Museum. Your ticket is tied to your passport! Don't forget it. There were 10 of us in our group. Entry through the main southern gate was quick. Pick up your bag for the morning after 9 a.m. The tour lasts about 4 hours. The grounds are so vast that you won't be able to see everything. We visited all the main halls and the gates leading to them, the chambers of Empress Dowager Cixi, the Treasure Museum, and exited through the North Gate. Unfortunately, no one is allowed inside the halls, and it's difficult to see much through the half-open doors and dirty glass. The Treasure Museum was incredibly crowded, so we couldn't get a good look. Chinese New Year was probably a factor. The tour was well organized. Our guide, Alina, was very responsive and helped us not only with the tour but also with other pressing questions. However, I personally missed more detailed historical facts (which is why I took the tour, as audio guides often fail during independent exploration).
