The tour gave us a view of what Lecce must have been like prior to 1540. The vibrant Jewish community that probably existed there contributed to a medieval society that is in contrast to present day Lecce. We appreciated this opportunity to learn more about Lecce’s forgotten past. It would have been nice to have a deeper discussion about the subject.★

Excellent cultural history and local tastes of food, small group, a great way to get to know Lecce first. I would recommend for first time visitors, do this tour day one, then use it as a guide to spend more time on what you find interesting, the culture, food, history, churches, architecture, or people. ★
