Wonderful experience all around. Rafaella, our instructor, was delightful, fun, and also a very skilled and knowledgeable teacher. Everything was already very organized so that we could spend most of our time on the cooking skills. She taught us how to make ravioli, calzone, fabulous eggplant parmigiana, meatballs with a tangy sauce, and even a dark chocolate orange almond cake! She gave us very practical tips on how we could riff on the recipes to make a lot of different dishes; we came away confident that we could make them at home. And our luncheon began with tasty starters she had already prepared, a nice bottle of wine was provided with the meal, and ended with homemade limoncello. The cooking school facility has been renovated beautifully with plenty of room and top notch modern appliances but in a charming environment in a cellar of an old stone villa. This class was pure class!★

I'll start off with complimenting Ana and Julia who were absolutely fantastic. They taught us real skills and what ingredients to look out for. I can't wait to try these recipes back at home because our pizza and pasta lunch was some of the best I've had and that includes Michelin star restaurants! Everything tasted so fresh - as it should because we made it right there! :)
The wine and Prosecco kept flowing and never stopped. And the facility was absolutely gorgeous. The pool, the garden, the outdoor kitchen, and the views of the sea made for the best atmosphere. So when you're in the area, I highly recommend taking this class! ★

The host to our house booked us a cooking class so I wasn’t sure what to expect since I didn’t research and book myself like I normally do. When we arrived we were greeted with appetizers and a wonderful lemon spritz made with their very own limoncello.
After settling in, our chef Sylvia guided us in making tiramisu, eggplant Parmesan and gnocchi. Sylvia was such a warm, delightful woman. She was so funny and told us stories instantly making us feel like we were part of her family, I wish. It was easy to follow along and our lunch was delicious.
There was no pressure to make other purchases, the entire store was very nice and inviting.
Sylvia must have made quite an impression on my college age son because upon returning home in the USA he promptly went to the store and purchased the ingredients to make his girlfriend the exact same meal. Now it will be my turn to recreate our meal. I hope I can achieve what he did.
