There was a lot of scaffolding. The bell tower was completely covered on the top floor, and we didn't know it. It's very difficult to understand the different names and access points for the monuments in question. We thought we would have access to the dome, but that wasn't the case because we hadn't properly understood the description of the excursion. Clearly, many tourists also misunderstood.

It wasn't a fast track ticket; we had to wait in line for about an hour to get in! However, the guide really did their best to explain everything in an entertaining way, so the waiting time wasn't difficult or boring at all!

It was an excellent day in Florence. Giovanni was our guide, although he was little quick on his feet. He had interesting things to show us and made sure we knew where we would go when we were done with the Tour portion because we had six hours free to do whatever we wanted which was fantastic. I got to see everything I wanted and even had a fantastic lunch at Il Borro on the Arno. The train ride was very pleasant and I met amazing people from all over the United States who were also doing bucket list trips. I felt safe, comfortable and appreciated as a person versus being treated like an annoying tourist.

What a great day! Toured by bike in the crowded area near the museums. Our fearless leader led us effortlessly through the crowds and over the bridge. Was able to stop briefly at several sights! Loved it🥰. Riders beware the tour includes a ferocious hill. I'm 71 and only made it halfway. But our guide stayed with me, and we walked our bikes together to the top of the hill.🤣 Breathtaking views of the city below. 🤩

This tour was so much fun. It was a great way to explore the city and we noticed details we would have missed otherwise. We misunderstood 1 clue and got off track, but that was another fun adventure. This tour was totally worth the price and a unique activity.
