I highly recommend this tour if you’re short on time and want to visit three major attractions in the Henan province. The day trip was well planned out and you definitely get your moneys worth. Our tour guide Jenny was very accomodating and knowledgeable. She is a Luoyang local - not only did she explain the history of Luoyang and its landmarks but she also gave us tips on how to get around Luoyang and helped suggest other attractions we could visit during our stay. This was a very insightful experience with lots of knowledge and stories about the grottoes and the Shaolin Temple, in an easy digestible way. We traveled over the Lunar New Year, so it was very busy, but our brilliant and friendly guide Bob made sure that we were able to catch the Kung fu show at the Shaolin Temple, which was amazing to see. A great day out to see iconic Chinese attractions.

Although I don't speak Chinese, the tour was very straightforward for me (pick-up, payment for extras, etc.). The kung fu show was the absolute highlight. It's a must-see. The tour guide was friendly, made sure no one got lost, and scheduled plenty of bathroom breaks. Excellent!
