The South Korean tour guide team was very professional. After booking through Ctrip, they communicated with us one day in advance to confirm the meeting time and place. The itinerary was compact and well-planned, visiting Imjingak, Dora Observatory, and the Third Tunnel in sequence. Our tour guide, Kim Ji-hye, was professional, cheerful, and humorous. She provided detailed explanations of the history of inter-Korean relations and each attraction, and thoughtfully helped with taking photos and translation.

Such a good tour. It covers the whole DMZ experience, and it’s actually the cheapest one I found. They take you to each of the main touristic points: - Imjingak Park (Freedom Bridge, old locomotive, ~1 hour) - Gamaksan Red Suspension Bridge (~1 hour) - Dora Observatory (1st, 2nd and 3rd floors, theater, ~1 hour) - The 3rd tunnel (includes entry and a short video, ~1 hour) - Fast stop at a convenience store in Unification Village (~15 minutes) The main highlight: the tourist guide, in our case Kenny :), gives you the whole context of the Korean conflict and the DMZ. He took every on-bus trip to give very interesting facts. Do not hesitate to take the trip!

The tour is on time. Well, since it's a tour, time is restricted. Taking pictures is the only thing you can accomplish and listen to your tour guide's explanation. Our tour guide, Roy is great by the way. However, not something that is suitable for a traveller like me who wants to savor the history in that place. But since this tour is only for a tour group, there is no other option than join a tour group. So, yeah it's a great tour.


