Reviews: Sabah Mantanani Island Day Trip [Limited-Time Special Offer | New Resort | Optional Diving/Mangrove Retreat]
Guest User2026-08-19
The itinerary was well-planned, with a car picking us up from the hotel in the morning. We transferred to a speedboat at the pier to go to Mantanani Island. The guide created a lively atmosphere, and the snorkeling was fantastic – we saw many small fish; it was my first time there and it was a wonderful experience. In the afternoon, we saw proboscis monkeys and macaques in the mangrove forest. In the evening, we watched the most beautiful sunset and saw ironwork fireworks on the beach. We returned to the mangrove forest in the evening, where fireflies twinkled, and the sky was dotted with stars. Overall, it was great!

Reviews: 1-day tour to Mantanani Islands in Kota Kinabalu Sabah · Snorkeling and scuba diving · Kawa-kawa river cruise fireflies
Guest User2026-09-20
We chose the Mantanani Island + Mangrove Forest Firefly tour, recommended by Xia Ya when we inquired. The itinerary was quite full and a bit tiring, but we had a great time. The weather was great and the water was very clear on the day we went snorkeling. The fireflies at night were incredibly bright, the kind you could easily photograph with your phone. The guide would lead them over. The guide spoke Mandarin, English, and some other languages, which was great.

Reviews: Island hopping in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah - 1-day tour to Sapi Island Kota Kinabalu, Sabah Malaysia and Manukan Island with optional snorkeling, parasailing and water activities
Guest User2026-10-15
Most of the day trips were booked through Ctrip, and we had a great time. Parasailing was fun, not as scary as I imagined. We also rented a camera to shoot videos. The service was good, there was no forced spending, and everything was flexible. I was very satisfied.
