Reviews: Porto: Fado Concert in Porto's Most Beautiful House

Fantastic atmosphere, vibe, and service! The singer was amazing and completely captivated us with her voice. We were very impressed. Both guitarists were also excellent. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience.

Perfect day and just a little shorter than the other tours because you only do one wine tasting. Perfect because I don’t drink that much but love to visit wineries. And my family doesn’t like super long tours so this was perfect. The cruise was beautiful and the meal at the winery was delicious. Just a perfect way to enjoy the Douro valley.

During our stay in Porto, we wondered over to Gaia, took the gondola down and ended up in WOW, it did not disappoint! We purchased the daily pass and made the most use costing 5 museums over the afternoon. We saw Planet Cork, Wine Experience, the Chocolate Story, Pink Palace and the history of Porto! The staff throughout the whole place were very pleasant, answered all our questions. These are all self guided tours. Planet cork was amazing, didn't realize how much you could do with this. The wine experience tour was just as good so much info on wine. With a tasting at the end by Joao who was also great! The Chocolate Story was next and we had a great time enjoying chocolate from all the different stations and learning of its long history! again, the staff was awesome! The pink palace was really fun and definitely a instragram worthy opportunity at every turn! And finally the history of Porto! If you're looking for a great experience for wine, history and fun visit WOW!!
Reviews: From Porto: Guided Tour of the 516 Arouca Suspension Bridge and Paiva Walkways
Guest User2026-02-01
The local guide, Barbara, was a delight: fun, dynamic, funny, and engaging. This excursion is a must-do; you breathe in the fresh air, experience magnificent nature, and enjoy thrilling adventures—my best experience ever! The restaurant is simple yet generous, with homemade dishes and unlimited wine 😏. A truly wonderful day away from the city

I found this experience simply beautiful; the rising fog made it even more dramatic. The wooden walkways/stairs are easily manageable. The views of the breathtakingly beautiful scenery, seeing the bridge ahead and walking across it—simply amazing. Our driver, Paulo, and our guide, Barbara, led us wonderfully through the day in a small group. Lunch at the restaurant and the subsequent visit to the Doces Conventuais de Arouca are highly recommended. All in all, a truly beautiful day trip that I can absolutely recommend.
