Itinerary Overview:
The journey departs from Tromso, heading to the natural views around the fjords west of the city. This is a photography tour that takes you to one of the most stunning locations in northern Norway. The trip starts at 7 AM from Tromso, passing through Kvaløya Island and arriving at the ferry terminal near Sommarøy Island, then taking a ferry to Senja. On Senja, you'll visit the heavenly Husøy, Mefjordvær village, Ersfjorden's golden toilet, Tungeneset's Devil's Teeth, and the Bergsbotn high-altitude viewing platform, returning to Tromso around 4 PM the same day.
Senja is located in Troms og Finnmark County, Norway, covering an area of 1,586 km², making it the second largest island in Norway. The highest point on the island stands at 984 meters above sea level. As of January 1, 2008, Senja had a population of 7,782. Known as the "Norway in Miniature," the island's diverse landscapes reflect the varied topography of Norway.
