He took us to the street where his mother was born and showed us the very trees he used to climb as a kid. Here's a photo of the shop where you can pick up your ticket. It's less than 10 meters from the actual scene depicted on the back of the 20,000 Vietnamese Dong banknote; you can't drive in by car. The ancient town has a great atmosphere.

I especially enjoyed the five o'clock tea experience at the tower's panoramic revolving restaurant. It's not just tea or dessert, but a complete experience: you're sitting in a beautiful setting, the panorama outside the window slowly changes, and the entire city unfolds before your eyes from above. The atmosphere is elegant, romantic, and relaxing. It's a moment you'll remember for a long time.
The view from the tower is simply incredible, especially if you come in the late afternoon, when the city begins to glow. Everything looks beautiful, modern, and grand. It's places like this that make your trip truly special!
