We enjoyed the tour. There was enough time for everything. We managed to walk part of the wall and return. We also walked around the summer palace with a guide who shared historical facts along the way.

Jackie Chan- (the actual english name of our guide) was one of the kindest and the most genuine guides I ever had. The whole trip was excellent way to experience as much of Beijing as possible in one day. I did more in one day with this group than by myself in the last 3 days. Booking through the website instead of organizing yourself is convenient because in most cases you skip the line and easily orient at the locations. However, be aware that by making this booking, there is no guidance on the Great Wall, just the most efficient way to get there that costs extra cca 140 yuan by cable car and if you want to stick with the guide at the Summer palace, you also need to purchase the boat ticket of 80 yuan. Lunch is optional, also 80, but was a really good buffey. Lastly, we did not visit the Yamingshan park and the water thing despite the itenirary description but we finished the tour pretty late and saw many beautiful things. Extremely worthy investment. Memories I will carry for life.

On October 19th, the tour guide, Wang Tao, led the group, and the entire trip was excellent. Although the time was a bit tight, we visited most of the places we wanted to see and learned about the important aspects. Wang Tao's explanations were exceptional; he went beyond the surface of history, helping us understand deeper layers of the subject. He was particularly detailed, especially his explanation of the mystery surrounding the death of Emperor Guangxu at the Summer Palace. The story was full of twists and turns, captivating and insightful, presented in a clear and accessible way. The sheer volume of information was overwhelming, almost like an encyclopedia. Overall, the experience was very good.

We were incredibly lucky to have met our tour guide, Liu Yanfang, on this trip! Her explanations were vivid and detailed, bringing the historical stories behind the attractions to life and making the otherwise dry historical sites come alive. She was attentive and considerate throughout the trip, always looking out for us, reminding us of the route and rest stops in advance, and making the arrangements convenient and worry-free. She was professional and patient, and promptly helped resolve any problems we encountered. Thank you so much for your companionship; it made our trip fulfilling and enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Great trip, though exhausting if you want to reach the top of the great wall first (red route), since there's still a fair amount of walking to do after. Go for the green route (the toboggan) unless you're an experienced hiker. For amateur hikers (like us), I'd have taken the green route since it's much less demanding. Awesome service though, awesome guide, highly recommend. Max is an amazing guide, gave us interesting lore and amazing tips on Beijing tourism too. His tips saved us a few hundred yuan after the tour, so the tour practically paid for itself! Love ya Max!!
