Reviews: Ferry Ticket from Phuket to Phi Phi Island-Laemtong / Oneway / Round Trip

The tour was superbly organized. A minibus arrived at the hotel and took us to the pier within an hour. There, we were given stickers and boarding passes based on our lists. Two hours later, we arrived at Tonsai Pier. On board, in the Economy Lounge, we were given tea, coffee, water, and motion sickness pills. Everything was perfect. The captain passed Maya Bay, Pele Bay, and the Viking Cave, giving us a great view.

The pick-up and drop-off service was so convenient; we could just wait for the car at the hotel. Since we were staying at the Phi Phi North Nature Resort, we booked a ride to Lanthong Pier. We had to transfer boats directly at sea near Tonsai Bay, which was a bit inconvenient for those prone to seasickness, as we had to wait for the other boat. We waited quite a while; we departed at 8:30 AM and didn't disembark until 11:30 AM. Then the hotel's tractor came to pick us up. Aside from the long journey time, it was very convenient.

Everything was on time. We arrived at the pier half an hour early and showed our reservation. There were no issues with our luggage, even though it was significantly larger than the service description stated.

The ticket description explains everything in detail. We found the check-in counter quickly. We were even allowed on the ferry earlier than the sign said. The ferry departed at 8:48 instead of 8:30. Tea, coffee, water, and cookies are complimentary on the ferry. There are restrooms. The staff help with luggage.

The ferry itself was good ,smooth ride and well organized. Just a tip for future travelers: if you booked hotel transfer and are staying in Patong, don’t stress if you don’t receive an exact pickup time. The usual pickup window for an 11:00 AM departure is between 8:30 AM and 9:30 AM. We didn’t get driver details in advance, which made us nervous, but they did arrive within that time. I wish someone had mentioned this in the reviews because it would have saved us a lot of stress. Overall, everything worked out fin
