On the subject of Newcastle history Martin is an extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide. Apart from the local historic content we enjoyed his more personal anecdotes regarding how a Bristolian man came to marry a Geordie lass. Thankyou Martin! The history around the Cloth Market, Bigg market, Groat market and a visit to one of the first Marks and Spencer stores gave a real feel of a great trip to the Northeast★

We had such fun on the tour, with our tour guide Rob.
Everything was so interesting, and relaxing. We bought bits and pieces of bibs along the way, like sausage rolls, and pease pudding. Stotties!
Rob is very happy for you to ask questions, and has a great sense of humour. He is interested in his guests too, which was nice
I learnt things about Newcastle that I wasn’t expecting at all. And inspired me to come back.
I highly recommend this tour
Good value for money, because you get a really substantial amount of time together. Is not too exhausting.
But you visit key areas of the city. It’s also a lovely way to get to know other people who are visiting Newcastle★

I off from the tram in princess street, but hv to walked about 15 mins to another stop to hop on the bus, over all its a wonderful experience, tq the bus for letting me enjoy my day in Edinburgh★
