Reviews: Zanzibar: Prison Island and Nakupenda Boat Trip with Lunch
Guest User2026-01-15
everything about the tour was up to standards, from the punctuality in the hotel pick-up, safe and comfortable transport, captain and guides were super attentive, very friendly, lunch was delicious and fresh, plenty of seafood options, lobster, calamari, octopus, tuna. The excursion to Changuu (prison island) was very informative, Nakupenda was a piece of paradise. the boat that took us was a one motor boat, it takes about 30' to get to changuu, maybe 10/15' to Nakupenda and another 15' back to stone town. you won't even feel the time passing as the views are breathtaking. Milano and P. Pequeno (forgot his name, Duma or Dima, can't remember) are absolut gems.
Reviews: Zanzibar Private Spice Farm and Stonetown Tour(Include Lunch)

We signed up for the 7 hr tour of Stonetown, the spice farm tour and the boat trip out to Prisoner Island to see the slave prison and the 200 year old tortoises. The tour was very good. Also included was lunch at a Stonetown restaurant which was excellent. It's a long day so wear good walking shoes. I would highly recommend this tour as it is good value for the money. Reviews: Stone Town Private Walking Tour

At the end of our stay in Zanzibar, we wanted to organise a bespoke private tour of Stone Town to include hotel pick-up and airport drop off with our luggage. Mo and his team sorted it without any problem and at a very fair price. Mohammed, our driver and tour guide, was very friendly and knowledgeable.
Reviews: 3 Hours Private Stone Town Walking Tour
Guest User2024-10-09
We had the afternoon free in Stone Town, and whilst having breakfast searched for things to do, we came across Rakib and his walking tour. I checked the availability, and there was space for a private tour at 3 p.m., so I booked. I received an instant email back via trip advisor, and a couple of minutes later, an email from Rakib saying hi and we arranged where to meet. We meet Rakib, and after introductions, Rakib explained where we would be going and if there was anything particular we wanted to see/do. We started the walking tour, Rabik was extremely knowledgeable and a nice person to hang out with. Would 100% recommend it, and if this way again, I would definitely contact Rakib for any tours. Bring water to sip on route. You do stop at a roof terrace for a cool down and drink
