Austria train fares are very expensive, but very reliable, many shifts are on time. So Eurail Pass is very easy to use in Austria, saving expensive transportation costs, especially the high-speed trains to and from Vienna and Salzburg, and the transportation costs of the most beautiful town in Hatsutat.

Absolutely loved the zoo! It’s was well laid out, informative and wonderful to see animals we wouldn’t normally see in Australia. Some animals were hibernating of course, but it didn’t matter. Well worth the trip!


