Jake was very informative while also being attentive to the visitors – and he gave us plenty of free time, which prevented us from feeling too confined within the group – and the three-part structure was very satisfactory

The itinerary was the same as online. It took about an hour and a half to drive to a rest stop for restrooms. Although I don't understand English, I can understand Japanese and Japanese culture, so I was still very happy with the trip. To see the monkeys, you have to walk about 30 to 40 minutes on a mountain path. In winter, you must buy or rent snow boots or shoe spikes, otherwise walking on the slippery mountain path will feel like you are facing a life-or-death situation at any time.

Our guide spoke excellent English and was able to answer all our questions. He kept an eye out for the monkeys the whole time, and lunch was great too! 👍🏻

The snow scooters at the park were very fun, and lunch was great! The snow monkey park was absolutely beautiful, and the monkeys made it even better. My husband and I enjoyed the hike itself as much as we enjoyed watching the monkeys. Hiroshi and Hana were wonderful guides, and we loved chatting with them. We did this as a day trip from Tokyo and highly recommend!


