Reviews: Biarritz and French Coast tour from San Sebastian or Bilbao
Guest User2024-07-03
My recent trip to Biarritz with a small group was absolutely fantastic! Biarritz is a stunning coastal town that offers the perfect mix of relaxation, adventure, and cultural experiences. We arrived in Biarritz and were immediately struck by its charm and we took a leisurely stroll around the town. The Basque architecture and picturesque streets set the perfect tone for our trip. Our second stop was the Basque city Bayonne A short trip to Bayonne was a wonderful addition to our itinerary. We wandered through the charming old town. Lunch in Bayonne allowed us to sample more local flavors. Overall Impression Biarritz is a gem on the French Atlantic coast. It offers something for everyone, from stunning beaches and exciting surf to rich cultural experiences and fantastic cuisine. Traveling with a small group allowed us to share these wonderful moments together, creating memories that will last a lifetime. I highly recommend Biarritz to anyone looking for a perfect blend of relaxation and adventure in a beautiful setting. - Uh-huh.
Reviews: French Basque Countryside Tour from San Sebastian
Guest User2024-07-21
My husband and I took a tour of the French Basque countryside with Ander, and we had a wonderful time. We visited the villages of Sara, Espelette, and St. Jean Pied de Port. Ander gave us great insight into the culture and history of the Basque region, and explained some of the similarities and differences between the Spanish and French Basque regions. He also offered to take pictures of us throughout the day to make sure that we could have some beautiful couples-photos. Tip: Remember to bring your passports! You are crossing into a different country, and sometimes the French government sets up checkpoints.
Reviews: Rioja Wine Private Tour from San Sebastian
Guest User2025-10-09
Our tour guide Andoni is very well versed and knows the San Sebastián-Donastia and Rioja areas very well as he grew up here. The wineries we visited were very good - Andoni picked them well. We bought many wines and look forward to their arrival at home. Andoni is a good story teller and kept us very engaged on the drive to Rioja, then let us sleep on the return after tasting many wines and having lunch in La Guardia. The perfect guide!! We highly recommend this tour, and Andoni as your guide.

Aitor was an exceptional guide, the tour was comprehensive and impeccably timed.
Reviews: From Bilbao: Biarritz, Saint Jean de Luz, San Sebastian Tour

Saint Jean de Liz, where I would, however, increase the stop by half an hour by subtracting half an hour from the stop at Monte Urgull, where a 10-minute stop is enough to take panoramic photos. I didn't like Biarritz; I would have avoided it, had I known about it beforehand, in favor of a longer stop in San Sebastian. Otherwise, it was an interesting trip, and the guide, Stephan, was truly excellent: thorough, always available, very kind, and very friendly. I recommend it to everyone, including the driver, Oscar, who is also very good. Overall, I recommend this tour with the suggestions above.
