After meeting the local wine connoisseur, you will receive a great overview of the Greek wine region, and with maps and charts take a virtual tour through the wine regions of Greece, taste the 5 basic Greek grapes and understand how different grapes and the diverse terroir of the country have led to the vast number of varieties of wine produced.
Paired with artisanal Greek cheeses and delicacies you will discover the incredible flavors that can be created simply by combining different wines. Still water and Greek traditional rusks will be available as palette cleansers. The wine ambassador will be happy to share his love and passion for wine and answer all your questions. A treat for the senses and the mind, you will finish up your tasting feeling more confident in understanding the different wines, thanks to what you‘ve learned and the varieties of wines that you have tasted.
This 90-minute session tends to be a very social yet educated wine tasting. You'll join a small group of wine lovers, usually with eight to ten wine-lovers adventurers on board. Definitely, a MUST do experience!
