This excursion definitely exceeded all our expectations and was worth every single penny. From start to finish, the whole experience was really well organised. Our guide, Nana, was absolutely brilliant - knowledgeable and genuinely entertaining. The way the information was delivered was easy to understand for our 10-year-old, and fascinating and informative for us as parents. It never felt overwhelming or rushed, and everything flowed naturally throughout the day. We travelled as a family, and the team were incredibly thoughtful. We were offered water and crisps, which made a big difference on a long day. Nana gave our daughter a small bracelet as a gift, which we really did not expect and it made her day! The sites themselves were outstanding. Being able to experience Luxor in such a relaxed and well-explained way made it unforgettable for all of us. A huge thank you to Nana, Khalid and the drivers for such a fantastic day! Definitely a day to remember 🤩📸★

Great trip and made easier by the staff.
Drivers were excellent and got us there as quick as possible, they also made sure we had enough cold water and drinks throughout the day.
Our guide Sherif was excellent, very approachable and knowledgeable. He made our trip a little easier in the sun by making sure we had shaded areas to stand in and even bought us all an ice cream to cool down. It is a long day from Hughes’s but definitely worth it. The bus was comfortable and AC was very helpful as the temperature reached 42c.
I would definitely recommend this company for a trip to Luxor!★

This is exactly how tours should be!
We booked only the day before, unsure of our timings, but absolutely hit the jackpot with our guide, Salwa from Emo Tours.
Salwa was incredibly knowledgeable—explaining the history of each site, how everything fitted into wider Egyptian history, and pointing out architectural details, meanings of the friezes, materials used, and the relationships and stories behind what we were seeing. She gave us plenty of time for photos, never rushed us, and kept sharing insights as we moved through each area.
Karnak Temple was our first stop, arriving nice and early to avoid the crowds and the heat. This meant amazing photo opportunities during the two-plus hours we spent exploring before heading to the much smaller Luxor Temple, with a quick visit to a herbs and spices shop en route.
Karnak is simply breathtaking—the sheer scale, the age, and the condition of the surviving architecture are astonishing. You could wander happily for hours, but the beauty of this tour was truly understanding what we were looking at rather than drifting past things and missing their significance.
Luxor Temple is smaller and features more varied architecture due to later additions and modifications. Still impressive in its own right, and we chose to stay on after the tour to walk part of the Avenue of the Sphinxes, which links both temples and is accessible with the same tickets.
Salwa wasn’t just a guide; with her deep knowledge of the sites, Egyptian history, and excellent English, she was an educator in the very best way.
We booked the driver and guide package and purchased our own entry tickets to keep costs manageable. The driver was pleasant, and his car was immaculate.
Highly recommended & the highlight of our visit to Egypt so far!★

George took us around East Bank from Karnak to Luxor Temple from pur hotel to a feluca journey and finally they left us at a restaurant we wanted to try.
George always kept an eye on us and made sure to show us the entry and where he was going to pick us up. We would text him 5 min before finishing he was there in a flash!
He got us drinks and an umbrella for the sun :)★

I had a chance to do a Nile cruise and use their taxi services and both were great! Great tea and photo opportunities on the cruise and the taxi was always prompt and on time. Fair prices for both. Will definitely use again next time I am in Luxor. Thank you!
