Reviews: A day trip to Ourika valley and Atlas Mountains

The whole day trip was great. A big thank you to Larabi and his colleagues who were very dynamic and funny. We were able to immerse ourselves in the Middle Atlas, taste culinary specialties, discover crafts and the magnificent landscapes after a mountain excursion, and finally eat along the Ourika. I highly recommend it!

Reviews: Marrakech to Atlas Mountains and three Valleys, Waterfall + Lunch

This day trip deserves 10/10 and I recommend 100%! We had booked for our 9-person friends group and could get a pickup location close to our accommodation. Mustapha is a modest, friendly and hospitality man and a very fine guide. He speaks English clearly and told us a lot about history, culture, local people, traditions, daily life,... It is an ideal day trip as a tourist who feels like a unique authentic experience. We visited a small argan cooperative and got some trials, fun explanations and interesting products... we made a few stops with beautiful views. We were welcomed with a good lunch and a fantastic panorama. We walked about 1.5 hours in the beautiful nature to a small waterfall (a little condition you will need...) and we ended with a trip on the camel with entertaining photographers that produced us fantastic pictures.
All of our group enjoyed this day. All we have seen today was really interesting and nice and that is largely thanks to Mustapha. Thank you thousand times!

Reviews: Private Atlas Mountains and 5 Valleys Tour from Marrakech - All inclusive -

I arranged a private tour for a group of 6 to the Atlas Mountains. A few days before the trip, I asked the tour organiser if the local family hosting us for lunch would be able to bake a cake for an extra charge, as it was a special trip for mum. The team didn't promise, but they delivered an exceptional experience.
First stop; at the co-op where working ladies are employed was educational, and we learned about Berber women’s work. The light breakfast was a nice touch.
Our tour guide (Abdullah) took us near the river for a refreshment, which offered lovely scenery that was unspoiled by commercialisation, allowing us to enjoy the view.
The view all the way to the 1-5 Valley was fascinating and Abdullah was knowledgeable, making the journey fun and enjoyable as well.
We did a moderate trail walk in the valley for over an hour. It was great to explore the valley and observe the lives of the locals. Our guide on the walking trail was helpful, knowledgeable and patient, as we are slightly slower, with two adults in their early seventies.
The lunch hosted by the local Berber family was a wonderful experience. The tagine was tasty and they opened their home with kindness. A truly great host, they prepared something special for Mum’s birthday — dressing her up like a local Berber and making sure she would have a memorable birthday celebration. It was an amazing day, and we treasure those moments.
Of course, it was a lovely touch that the cake was complimentary! Hats off to Abdullah for 5+ effort!

We had such a lovely day trip with Arib Voyages! Our guide, Lamin, was wonderful showing us his beautiful country, telling tales and giving us a taste of what the Atlas Mountains and its valleys have to offer. We opted to visit the Women’s Cooperative and were so pleased to meet Hind and learn about their establishment and work. We then followed with a short 30-minute upwards hike to the waterfall and back. It was great to get a few steps in after covering a few kilometres by car with a starting point from Marrakesh. The lunch in a Berber village at the top of the mountain was the highlight of our day - they were so sweet, the food was delicious and the views incredible!
We will definitely be recommending this trip to any of our friends visiting Morocco!
