Our guide, although he drove a little faster than we liked, was informative and sweet. The two wineries we visited were stellar and both had excellent staff and owners. The food in both wineries was delicious but the lunch at Efemia was particularly tasty. The boat ride was also a great way to get a different perspective of the Duoro Valley. It was a totally enjoyable day!

An amazing day which we initially thought sounded too good to be true. The organistion was slick and delivered totally on the package. I'm a European exchange student living in Germany. Knowing that I could conveniently travel to other countries by train, I purchased a Eurail Pass. At the time, there was a promotional discount of about 20%, so I got it for about €100 less. I was very satisfied with the price. I could choose to use 15 days within two months, which was incredibly convenient. I highly recommend it.

Miguel was an excellent tour guide and answered any questions that may have come up. What was even better is he had a mixed group with English and Spanish and did an awesome switching between the 2 languages. Sheila was an excellent driver and was able to navigate some very tight spots with no difficulty. I would highly recommend these 2 if able to request Tour Guide and Driver combo.


