We departed Ho Chi Minh City at 8:25, crossed the border at 11:20, departed again at 12:30, and arrived in Phnom Penh at 16:35. There was one rest stop along the way. The immigration and customs procedures were handled by the guide, which made things easy.

Our guide Sum Cheath provided a very detailed and informative commentary about the Cambodian genocide and gave us a comprehensive overview of the Cambodian history. We visited two poignant sites, both of them really interesting and worth visiting.


