Day 1
Meet at meeting point: 623 Meany Rd Charlestown,Sullivan County,New Hampshire,United States Participants to meet at our shop at 623 Meany RdActivities: Participants will have the opportunity to learn about, handle, and actually fire an assortment of WW2 era small arms at our rural outdoor range. You have seen them in movies and video games, and here is your chance to get some trigger time with these historic guns. After an indoor class where we will go over the history and background to dozens of small arms used in WW2, participants will select their favorite rifle, pistol and submachinegun to fire. We'll also set up a crew served belt fed machine gun. Each participant will fire a full magazine from a pistol, battle rifle, submachine gun and a 20-round belt from a belt fed machine gun under direct supervision of an instructor. Participants should wear comfortable clothing & footwear for the outdoors. This is an outdoor activity. You should come prepared for the weather and to kneel, sit or lay on the ground as needed. Prior experience with shooting is not necessary. All shooting is done using the techniques used in the 1940s, which means pistol shooting is done one handed and rifle shooting is done from the right shoulder using the stances taught in the WW2 era.
