Excellent tour, and the guide is exceptional with great knowledge of local history and culture. He took us to the tour sites quickly and safely, and since we were in a hurry, he even took us to another place that wasn't on the initial itinerary. He also gave us a souvenir of Welsh sweets. It was an amazing tour and our tour guide Max has loads of stories to share, never a boring time onboard. It was a good balance of activities and places like the waterfalls and the Caerphilly castle at the end of the day. I didn't really have any knowledge about the itinerary at all when I booked this tour but I am very glad for the nice surprise it turned out to be. truly recommend for first timers visiting Cardiff.★

The itinerary was well-balanced, giving us enough time to enjoy the stunning Welsh castles, the beautiful mountain scenery, and the highlight — the nostalgic ride on the historic steam train. It felt like a perfect mix of history, nature, and classic railway charm. Our tour guide was excellent — knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about sharing Welsh history and stories. They made the whole experience so engaging and memorable. The driver was also professional, safe, and always on time, which made the journey very comfortable. We especially appreciated how smoothly the day ran, with clear communication and thoughtful pacing. It was a truly enjoyable and unforgettable adventure in Wales. We loved our tour! It wasn’t the best weather but Bill was the best tour guide and we had a great time. Would really recommend this to any dr who fan visiting Cardiff. You wouldn’t see all the spots on the tour on your own and you see so many things you don’t even realise were in doctor who. We had so much fun and would do it again!★

Honestly was the best 2 hrs we laughed for the whole time! Drinks were delicious! Only 1 drink non of us liked and the lovely barmaid replaced them for ones we did like. Would highly recommend this experience. I booked this for 8 of us for my mums hen do weekend we are now planning more girls trips to the other Alcotraz locations to try them all
