After some gray days, the sun finally came out in Lisbon! The day trip to the Algarve visiting Benagil Cave, Carvoeiro & Lagos - was a highlight of my vacation in Portugal. The dramatic rock formations & beaches in Lagos are truly spectacular. Special thanks to John, our guide & driver, for handling the long drive so professionally & looking after us throughout. Wonderful excursion! Beautiful exploration of the caves and cliffs with a very different perspective from the water. We took tons of wonderful photos and our hosts Angelo and Giovana did an amazing job!
