The weather was nice and it was a fun experience. I've seen a lot of reviews saying that the show was lacking and disappointing, but considering the time we spent on the boat, the services we could see, and the amount we paid, it was truly a great and enjoyable time. It was my first day in Vietnam after a night in an airport due to delays. So I was very tired but my tour guide (Mun) was amazing. She took me to multiple food places where I got to enjoy the local dishes. She also gave me recommendations for the rest of my trip to make my trip even better. She was very kind and riding on the motor bike was very fun and she was a great driver. I would recommend this to all travelers who want to try local food easily! Thank you!★

I booked a tour through Vietnam. I was the only Chinese person on the bus. The tour guide spoke in English, and I got the gist of it from a few words. The itinerary was a standard tour offered by the company, and Ha Long Bay was quite beautiful. The facilities on the boat were good, and the lunch buffet had a wide variety of choices. The service was also good. It was a shopping stop, but there was no pressure to shop.★

The most important thing to keep in mind when taking this cruise is that it's not really a cruise. The ship departs from the port and is anchored, and all excursions are on small motorboats. We took a three-day cruise, and it was the best choice. On the first day, we visited popular locations in Halong Bay: 1. Thi Top Island with its observation deck and beach, where we had a wonderful swim, and 2. Sung Sot Cave. On the second day, we transferred to another boat and went to Lan Ha Bay, where it was simply magnificent. There were fewer people. We had a wonderful kayaking trip to Luon Cave, and then swimming in the sea from the ship. We lounged on the deck chairs and sunbathed. The guides were wonderful, caring, and attentive both days. The crew took care of us constantly. The three of us also enjoyed the food; it was plentiful and varied. The only downside was that our cabin didn't have a balcony, but we had to live with it since there were no other three-person cabins available. The transfer was wonderful. This tour was excellent value for money.
