The holy mountain gave us plenty of time to explore at our leisure. Audio guides were available for rent at the monastery to learn about its history, and the view from the summit overlooking the bay was absolutely stunning.★

We participated as a family of four on September 12, 2026. Trip.com's instructions said to arrive 15 minutes before the meeting time, but the tickets we received said to arrive 30 minutes early. We arrived early just to be safe, and there were already quite a lot of people there.
It was our first time at Mont Saint-Michel, and we were very satisfied.
We met a little after 4 PM and headed back by bus, but apparently there was a tunnel accident along the way, causing a two-hour traffic jam! We were scheduled to arrive at 9 PM, but ended up arriving at 11 PM. Bus trips can have these kinds of problems, so it's important to plan your schedule with plenty of buffer time before and after the trip.★
