I think this is a very worthwhile part of Kota Kinabalu; the fireflies are beautiful, and the tour guide is excellent. Aside from the slightly bumpy ride on the main road, there are no other downsides.★

Although I made the reservation the day before, the guide arrived in the hotel lobby five minutes early to pick me up. The road to the boat dock was not particularly smooth, so it was quite bumpy, but we arrived earlier than scheduled. The wait time before boarding was short, and the tour was smooth throughout, allowing me to participate with peace of mind. The first tour was an animal observation cruise, and there were many highlights, including monkeys and buffalo. It was great that we were given more time to observe them than the other nearby boats. The weather was unfortunate for sunset, but we were able to take plenty of time to take photos on the beautiful beach. On my second trip, I was able to see many more beautiful fireflies than I expected, which was a great experience. The food was also delicious. Of the various tours available, I was glad I chose this one, which was mid-priced. I highly recommend it.About
