The Guide was knowledgeable and very nice, he encouraged us to ask questions, and answered them without an issue. Transport was nice and on time. However, I would appreciate if the activity provider included an option with entrance fee to Hagia Sofia, so we didn't need to purchase the tickets from the guide on the spot.

We only had a couple of days in Instanbul and were fortunate to have Renan as our private guide. We were greeted on time in the hotel foyer and requested to see the major attractions of the city. With no hesitation our itinerary was planned and we were ushered into a very clean and lovely van. Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace and the Grand Bazzar was our itinerary. Renan is fluent in English and was able to navigate the queues to ensure we got to the front of the line. This was wonderful as it was very busy. Her sharing of knowledge made the tour interesting and she knew the best places to take photos and major points of interest. She even provided me with a scarf. At the Grand Bazaar she knew the best stalls and helped barter. Not knowing the currency very well she insured I was charged the correct amount. Renan was kind and caring. She took us to a wonderful place for a late lunch which enabled us to share more information about the city.

Our Japanese guide, Basak, guided us around Istanbul in a very comfortable environment! He showed us around popular tourist spots, avoiding the crowds, and also gave us detailed information about affordable souvenir shops and how to use public transportation, which was very helpful! I highly recommend him to anyone traveling to Istanbul from Japan!
