Booked for 2 people. Our tandem pilots Andrea and Jayden were excellent! Friendly and experienced crew. Really smooth process from check in and getting up to Coronet Peak. We were the first two off the mountain at 9am, the thermal winds were in our favour so we got a bit more lift and a slightly longer flight. Recommend fingerless gloves, even in summer, it was chilly! Pilots checked in on us constantly to make sure we were okay. We were staying in Arthurs Point, only 15 mins from Coronet Peak, and were able to board the shuttle bus from Arthurs Point Road, rather than needing to drive into central Queenstown, after contacting Skytrek beforehand.★

Such a great trip! Grant (or Grant but in a kiwi accent) was a great tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and taught us a lot about the culture and history during the long van rides. Glowworm caves were cool but the highlight for me was definitely the geysers. The whole experience was great and am so grateful that they offer a trip like this including transport since Rotorua is quite a distance away.
Note: this experience did not include a Māori performance or haka. If I read the description better I wouldve known that but that is the only thing I was a little bummed about. The experience is great, but just note what is actually included if thats what you are looking for.
