Reviews: Guilin Longji Rice Terraces|Jinkeng Dazhai terraces + Huangluo Yao village|optional Ping'an Village terraces 1-day tour

It took almost two hours to reach the Longji Rice Terraces. The scenery was stunning, with golden terraces cascading down in layers – definitely worth a visit. However, I didn't understand why the tour guide said there was a 100 RMB entrance fee per person to Ping'an Village, which wasn't mentioned when we bought the ticket.★

Reviews: Longji Rice Terraces, Long Hair Village Guilin Day Small Group / Private Day Tour

I'm writing this in Japanese because I especially want to recommend it to people from Japan. First of all, I highly recommend this tour. If you can speak even a little English, it's a wonderful and fun tour that's more reasonably priced than other tours considering the content. Our guide, Cris, is an intelligent and cheerful young man with long-term experience living abroad. He answered our questions carefully in English that was easy for Japanese people to understand, about the places we visited, ethnic minorities, history, agricultural products, and transportation. He's a guide who knows a lot about different countries and can tell us stories without bias. It was a very enjoyable tour. The recommended lunch restaurant was also delicious, reasonably priced, and had a great local feel. I made the reservation the afternoon before, and the pick-up from the hotel on the day of the tour was smooth. He also helped to connect me with a fellow participant from Ireland, and it was a great opportunity to learn about different countries and cultures. It's a shame I forgot to take a picture with Cris.★

We had a wonderful day with a very friendly and attentive driver/guide! Absolutely fantastic, we highly recommend it. Plus, the scenery is magnificent; you have to see it with your own eyes, not just in photos.★

Reviews: Guilin 1-day Tour: Longji Rice Terraces + Ping'an Zhuang Village + Jinkeng Dazhai Twin Villages (Small Group | Private Tour)
Guest User2026-09-25
Visiting the Longji Rice Terraces with Mr. Chen's small group tour this Mid-Autumn Festival was truly a fantastic experience! Mr. Chen provided detailed and patient explanations throughout the trip, vividly and interestingly recounting the stories of the terraces and the local customs and culture. His service was impeccable, always considerate of everyone's needs. The entire itinerary was relaxed yet fulfilling, allowing us to have a wonderful time without any worries. Meeting such a reliable guide and encountering such beautiful scenery on this Mid-Autumn Festival was incredibly worthwhile! I highly recommend it to anyone planning a trip to Longji; Mr. Chen is the perfect choice!★

A transfer that takes you both to the village and the rice fields and helps you with entrance tickets. Excellent service.
