I traveled using a Eurail pass. It was cheaper than other sites, including points redemption, so I used it. I recommend it if you travel long distances a lot. I'll definitely consider it for my next trip to Europe.

I visited midweek, and it was quiet enough. They offer audio guides here however everyone using them seemed to be rushing through the exhibit quite quickly. I personally would highly recommend ignoring the audio guide and walking around with your own headphones, to absorb the large amount of information. The bottom floor houses the Fuhrerbunker replica which is fantastic. I was there 4 hours, however I probably read every single thing available. A must see for anyone interested in the history of Berlin.


