Reviews: Kimono Rental Experience in Kyoto by Sakakujing

The people here were so kind and I had a very comfortable time getting ready and getting my hair done. The ladies here were so sweet and professional. I definitely recommend renting your kimonos here as they were beautiful and the hair styling was also so pretty. They also offer kimono insurance for around 500 yen or so, which I definitely recommend because going to temples in your kimono or indulging in some sweet treats; accidents happen, and it'll save you a big fee!
Reviews: Tokyo Sumo & Geisha Show with A5 Wagyu Dinner in Asakusa

We had a rather interesting and fun evening here! The food was delicious and plentiful. The wagyu was amazing! We had unlimited drinks and were given gifts. Geisha dance—well, one girl dances for five minutes. Then everyone takes photos with her, and that's it. Sumo wrestlers: they tell a little about sumo, then they joke around for the crowd, then demonstrate some moves and techniques, and then wrestle for 10 minutes. Then they offer wrestlers a chance to wrestle. And finally, photos. Overall, the evening was fun and relaxed.

Reviews: Tokyo: Kimono-Making Experience
Guest User2025-12-29
A fantastic experience and a wonderful souvenir! You have a wide selection of beautiful vintage kimonos to choose from, try on several, and then select one. It's cut open, you get to iron the hem yourself, and then it's time to put it on. There's a large selection of obi and accessories to choose from. I recommend documenting each step of the dressing process with photos or videos so you can dress yourself later. More elaborate kimonos cost an additional 2,000 to 6,000 ¥. Obi and accessories are extra if you want the complete set. I think it's a wonderful activity, thank you so much! I hope I can wear the kimono on my next trip to Japan.
