We went on safari to the Mikumi National Park, Tanzania and we had the best day. Our guide, Isaac, was just amazing! He had asked what we would like to see (not that he needed to as we seemed to see everything!), so first thing on our agenda was a lion hunt! We managed to see 3 prides of lions and it amazed us how close we were. We could even see the different personalities in them - especially the Kings!! We saw zebras, giraffes, elephants, a python and lizard sat in a tree together, to name a few - and not just from a distance! Couldn’t actually believe how close we were - absolutely amazing!!! Experiencing the watering hole was just out of this world too - felt like we were in a movie!! Seeing the animals/birds was fabulous, and obviously the highlight, but we also enjoyed riding in the jeep - such an adventure! We will definitely be booking to do another safari sometime in the future!!

I had a fantastic experience with Dove Adventure Tanzania on Dar es Salaam City Tour. I learned about the country's rich heritage while visiting amazing sites. Bryan, the driver, was excellent and kept everything smooth and safe. Michael also expertly navigated through heavy traffic ensuring I made it on time for my international flight. This was one of the best and most comprehensive historical tours I have taken. Not only did I have a knowledgeable and engaging guide, but the content and context of Bagamoyo’s history and its placement in Tanzania. History was so fascinating and captivating. I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Dar Es Salaam as a way to better appreciate the complex colonial history of Tanzania.


