Reviews: Bucharest:Day Trip Dracula's tomb & Salt Mine Slanic Prahova
Guest User2026-01-04
Andreea was fantastic! Very sweet, helpful, and very kind. She gave us all the necessary information about the places we visited. She also gave us information about Bucharest in general. The places are fantastic: the mine is very evocative and almost feels like being on another planet. Dracula's tomb is very simple; don't expect anything different. It's located in a monastery on an island, full of trees.

The driver was very good and careful despite the snowy road. Our guide, Andreea, was professional, helpful, and kind. The mine is evocative and the monastery very beautiful. We returned on time despite the adverse weather.

It was fantastic. We had to book this activity in English because we couldn't find any availability in Spanish for that day, and it included the entrance fees. But what a surprise it was when our guide, Andrea, realized we were Spanish and didn't hesitate to approach us and explain almost everything in Spanish! She was amazing!! And the excursion was incredible! The mines were breathtaking, and the tomb was pretty, well, nothing special, but being in Romania, we had to see it... 😅😅
Reviews: Alternative Bucharest: 2.5-3 Hours Walking tour (Small groups)

Had a great guide in Alex who shared the history of street art in Bucharest. I did the ‘usual’ walking tour a week ago and this an alternative tour that I strongly recommend. Alex showed us the ways to appreciate street art in a different light. And like all art, it’s up to our interpretation as well!
Reviews: Day Trip Bucharest : Dracula Castle, Peles Castle and Brasov

I booked Peles Castle, Bran, and Brasov, but instead of Brasov, I ended up with a strange, albeit beautiful, place. I could have spent more time in Peles than in Bran.

You start very early and the journey takes longer than it would have taken you to the castles and Brasov, but in the end, it was very easy. You get in, and the driver and guide know their way around like the back of their hand, so you can just sit back and enjoy. Don't forget to listen! The guide tells you interesting things about the various activities. There's time for lunch, coffee, souvenir shopping, or just taking photos. I do recommend going in summer rather than autumn or winter, although it was certainly magical now with the snow. And I recommend going when Peleș is open. We didn't go inside, and I'm a bit disappointed about that. (I knew beforehand it was closed.)
