Where do I begin?! Chirag designed a private tour for us and oh my goodness, what a day! We got up at 5 am to get to the wholesale flower market and the fruit & vegetable markets.
Wow! A feast for the eyes! Sassoon Dock in the early morning is also a must-see. It's right up there with the flower, fruit & veg markets. Because it was a public holiday therefore not terribly busy on the trains, Chirag took us for a short train ride on a whim, just for something different. Dhobi Ghat, the open air laundry - another highlight! Chor Bizarre was an eye-opening experience because there is a sea of second-hand tools, car parts, appliances, plus a whole lot more. We visited the Dharavi slums last. Words cannot describe this part of Mumbai, and photos could never do justice to what all your senses experience. This tour is the best I've ever done so a big thank you to Chirag and also our driver, Pranav. What an amazing adventure!★

It was excellent, because: 1. It started at 7am hence the weather was perfect for a walk 2. Dawood our tour guide showed us the important landmarks, remembered the history of the landmarks completely, and spoke very well. He was also very accommodating to the physical needs of the group. 3. The duration of the tour was just nice. It allowed me to get back to my hotel in time to still make it for breakfast. 4. Great value for money. I will definitely recommend this tour.★

Ali gave such a refreshing authentic perspective on Mumbai sights and wider society. I loved walking through the markets and picking up fresh bread at the 'hole in the wall' bakery. Also the beautiful colonial era architecture. He provided great tips for after the tour and even accommodated my suitcase storage!★

Nice contrast to traffic jam and honking down town. Beautiful gardens, view point and Gandhi villa -visiting. Easily done in 2-3 hours.
