Reviews: Naples Best Of: Amalfi Coast and Pompeii - Small Group Tour
Guest User2026-04-04
It was great experience despite the “moody” weather in late March. But throughout the drive to Amalfi, Antonella was very funny, bubbly and told lots of interesting things around the areas we passed. In Amalfi, when the weather cleared, we had last minute opportunity to go on a short boat trip - unforgettable! Pompeii was done by another guide Elia - super knowledgeable. And of course, the whole trip went smooth as we had Rosario driving us through thousands of curves through the mountains.

Ms. Grazia, our guide, was nothing short of excellent, knowledgeable, and engaging. She covered a variety of historical, cultural, and social topics. She managed to keep everyone entertained in a playful and enjoyable way. It was truly a great pleasure.

Overall, it was a very good experience. Niccolo is very kind, attentive, funny, and very intelligent because he knows a lot about the subject and speaks many languages, which makes you feel very comfortable. He also gives you the confidence to message him on WhatsApp if you need anything. However, I think that trying to cover so much in one day makes everything feel rushed, both in Pompeii and Naples. I think I would prefer to pay for a separate tour for Pompeii and dedicate more time to it, or a tour just for Naples to explore it more thoroughly. Even so, the guides' rating is very positive.

You need to speak English to get to the arrival square where hundreds of tourists queue together before being assigned places. It's suitable for those who want a quick tour, as it's almost impossible to visit all those places on your own. At first, I thought it was expensive, but later I realized it was a really good deal; your train ticket alone would cost more than that. June/July is just too hot 🥵, the weather is bad, so it's not suitable for traveling with family! It's fine for young people with children abroad. Pompeii is definitely worth visiting! Although I got sunburned 😳
Reviews: Amalfi Coast + Ravello Day Tour in Italy|Optional lunch|Visit 2 ancient towns

Our tour guide was young, handsome, and quite humorous. The coastline was incredibly beautiful, and we stopped at about three different locations to explore on our own before heading back to the city. The guide also helped us take photos. We returned to the city around 3:40 PM, still having plenty of time to do other things.

That's good, it's not easy to run that far in one day.
