Reviews: Tenerife: Quad Adventure Teide Tour

The tour was very beautiful, the staff was very nice and you could always joke around with them while they still were very professional through all that. The ride was beautiful and we always felt safe. The only thing that i would change (if possible) Is that the ride back from the "Mars field" was the same as we got up there, but i think there may be no other way back down. There were enough breaks for drinking something or taking pictures. Would recommend and do it again.

We have just had the best trip to Teide National Park on a private half day tour with Miguel, His knowledge was excellent and he was very helpful even with the urgent, unscheduled toilet stop. We stopped at Vilaflor for coffee and delicious cakes from a lovely lady at a cafe and then on to Mount Teide where we had a good length of time to walk partly along a trail and visit the free museum. The views and scenery were outstanding and made all the more meaningful with Miguel’s excellent guiding. Don’t miss out on this trip!

BEST ACTIVITY IN TENERIFE!! Our family of 9 (aged 11-52) booked this tour and we’re so glad we did! Originally we were booked in for a Friday, but due to some maintenance on some off the quads, we were contacted promptly via WhatsApp by the owner, who offered us a private tour for the following day! Pick up was 10 minutes early, and the driver was so lovely. He had a genuine interest in greeting each of us, and informing us about the activity ahead of us. When we got there, Marc and Lucas made sure all of us were fully capable and understood exactly how to work the quads, ensuring we were all comfortable. As for the tour itself… wow! It is such a fun activity for the whole family, the different kind of roads, villages and areas you visit make it a great way to see a different side to the island. Every stop, for pictures etc, the guides asked us if we were all ok, needed water or jackets etc. The food was lovely and the picture they take are so worth it, so professional. The men on the tour were not only great at talking care of everyone, but we’re really funny to chat to and so informative about the places we visited. 100% worth the money and will definitely be back again. Thank you ‘

Reviews: Mt. Teide and Masca Valley Tour in Tenerife

In the words of my 8 year old son “BEST DAY EVER!”. We caught the cable car to the viewing platform and climbed to the summit thereafter (permit required to access the summit). We spent 11 days in Tenerife and this was our last day excursion. We were lucky enough to access the summit of volcano with no other tourists around. We spent 30 minutes at the top taking photos and having a good look around at the crater and views. Things to note - If you drive like we did, the roads are long and winding. It’s about 70-90 minutes from most locations on the island. The drive is not for the faint hearted but is manageable. Parking was a bit of an issue. It’s super busy at any given time. We did get a space eventually but had to walk from the main road nearly to the cable car area at the base. Boarding is 20 minutes before you allocated cable car time. Be there or be square! They did leave without people who arrived late. If you are hoping to access the summit of the volcano you need to apply for a permit. We applied for this a number of months before our visit. Also, if you are going to attempt the summit be prepared for the altitude. Me and my son wholly underestimated the altitude situation. We had to stop nearly every 5 minutes to catch our breath. Took us around an hour to climbed to the top. Yes, parts of the track you will have to physically climb. Take plenty of water and snacks! All in all…. If you are going up there, go for the summit. Amazing experience and something me and my son will never forget!
