Reviews: Iceland Skaftafell Glacier Day Tour [Multiple Routes Available: Glacier Hiking, Ice Climbing, Blue Ice Cave]
Guest User2025-10-26
The experience was pretty good, but the blue ice cave we actually saw was a bit small. However, the scenery along the way was quite nice. Although hot chocolate was not provided, the tour guide was very professional and the staff at the counter were very patient in helping us. Overall it was very good!

This excursion is highly recommended. Walking on ice is a unique and unusual experience. The guide was fantastic: professional, clear in his explanations, and always attentive to the group. The ice caves are truly impressive, especially because of their shapes and colors. It's definitely worth seeing in person.
Reviews: Skaftafell Glacier Explorer - Extended Small Group Trek

We saw a lot, and our guide explained the various glacial phenomena very well. Everything was perfectly organized. Our group consisted of only three participants, and since everyone was still keen and the weather was wonderful, our guide suggested hiking for another hour to gain more altitude. Highly recommended!
Reviews: Half-Day Glacier Hiking Tour at Skaftafell Glacier, Iceland|Professional glacier guide|Optional ice cave featured in the same style as "Divas Hit the Road 5"

Actually, I feel that buying three or four hours is the same. I booked four hours because I had a child with me. It was snowing that day, so we went to a very small cave, but it was very convenient, it's between Vic and Hepburn, so you can stay in either one.
