It was a lovely day out. Diego was an absolute delight, very knowledgable, kind and funny. A very good driver. A credit to the Bearded Madeira Tour company that he worked for. The day was varied with a trip to a pretty fishing village, glass floor visit at the top of the mountain, Fanal Forest, volcanic rock pools. Enough time in each spot to have a good look round and enjoy each experience. Would definitely recommend - very enjoyable

Took this tour on 6 Nov 25. The jeep picked us up from the hotel bang on time. Franc our guide was extremely charming and gave us lots of information about the island throughout the day. There was a good variety of stops, unfortunately the pools at Porto Moniz were closed due to the large waves but these were spectacular to watch. Great to find the Witch's Tree in Fanal Forest and the off road section through the forest on the way home was the highlight. I would highly recommend this trip.

What an incredible experience. We had great communications from the team in the run up to the trip. We were picked up on time and in comfortable transport. Ricardo was really welcoming and pleasant. On the journey up we had a huge amount of information and history shared with us all by him and he was happy to answer any questions from our excellent little group of strangers who became friends! The dinner stop was outstanding. So quaint and personal with delicious food and plenty to drink, and also a historical spot to stop at. We were in the clouds at this point and wondered if we may not get a sunset. Yet 600m later we came through the clouds to the most magnificent scene, clouds surrounding the most incredible landscape. Breathtaking. Once on top it just got better and at no point would you tire of it. The sunset was out of this world, with the feeling of being on top of the world as well as surrounded by peace and tranquility. The colours were amazing and it is a hard experience to equal. The journey down offered further opportunity to enjoy the scene before returning to the trees and clouds then finally the coast. I cannot recommend it enough, an absolute bargain at the price and an unforgettable experience with a great guide. Must do in Madeira!

Staff were wonderful. Very friendly and knowledgeable. The second part of the hike, after we reached Pico do Areeiro was easier than expected. Views were wonderful, and sitting at the cafe afterwards was so relaxing with those spectacular views.

Stuff make a presentation about dolphins life. it was interesting. We know a lot of new things about dolphin life. Stuff was very helpful and nice. We saw a lot of dolphins. And was memorable swimming in open water.
