We booked this tour expecting to see some monuments. In the end, we didn't see much and there were no explanations. There was very little space upstairs. We found the last 15 minutes a bit long. Luckily the weather was nice.★

The tour was incredibly interesting. We would never have discovered the neighborhood without the guided tour, and you see so many things on the tour that you wouldn't have noticed if you were just walking through the area. Currently (March 2026), unfortunately, only an underground area was accessible due to restoration work, so it was more of an above-ground church tour. Nevertheless, it's highly recommended and well worth seeing!★

I had the most authentic and enjoyable experience visiting Travestere with Conrad Tours. The history and attention to detail in explaining the process behind how the food we tried is made was a highlight as much as the food, I came away with much more knowledge than anticipated. My favourite part was the restaurant where we ate dinner with a visit to the oldest wine cellar in Rome, a true locals experience as promised not the well trodden oath of other tours. Thank you was a really highlight of my time in Rome .
