A wonderful tour in Beijing! The tour with Jimmy and Mubus was ar incredible experience! Every detail was clear even before the start. Jimmy was very nice and really well prepared: he guided us flawlessly, telling us many interesting historical information anc funny curiosities. He even sang us c traditional chinese opera song! For the included lunch he brought us to a very exclusive and authentic Chinese restaurant, we got the chance to taste the famous Pechinese Duck along with manv other delicious dishes. I absolutely recommend this tour. Thanks Jimmy!

Yonghe Temple is my favorite place in Beijing. I visit it every time I'm on a business trip. However, my understanding of it was limited to knowing that it was the former residence of the Fourth Prince before his death and later became a royal temple. This time, I brought my children and wanted to find a lecturer to tell them about the history of Yonghe Temple so they could learn more about it. I was very fortunate to meet Teacher Yu, who was extremely professional and dedicated. The Yong Prince's Mansion produced Emperor Yongzheng and later became the residence of Emperor Qianlong. Two emperors came from one mansion—what excellent feng shui! Later, it became Yongzheng's mausoleum and was used for royal ancestral worship. Since the six-year-old Living Buddha was brought here by Nian Gengyao, it has become the national temple of Tibetan Buddhism. The cultural relics here are priceless—I heard that during the Cultural Revolution, a regiment of soldiers was sent to guard this temple. As a national temple, it is indeed a national temple. The four Vajra guardians are seated, the nine-story pagoda is magnificent, and the giant wooden Buddha in the Hall of Ten Thousand Buddhas, listed in the Guinness World Records, is 26 meters tall (18 meters above ground and 8 meters underground). It is said that the wood used to make the statue is about 15,000 years old, and it has stood for more than 270 years. There was also that enormous Thangka painting, its pigments made entirely from ground gemstones, and the thousands of scrolls of scriptures collected during the Kangxi era… each piece is truly priceless. Teacher Yu's professional knowledge flowed smoothly, and the children listened intently. As we prayed and listened to these profound historical stories, we were deeply moved. Thank you again, Teacher Yu, for allowing us to truly understand the Yonghe Temple.

Had a lovely time with Jimmy as our guide and a lovely group of fellow tourists! He got in touch (WeChat) after booking & days before the tour and provided his contact and trip details. Not every tour does that so I really appreciate that. Jimmy had a lot of energy, had plenty of historical stories for us, and covered all the main sights. Tour involved a lot of walking ~10km (not surprising due to the size of the sights) and I was travelling with my senior parents but it was at a manageable pace. The only complaint was our bus wasn't on time so they arranged Didi for us. Overall a memorable day in Beijing. (Booked Temple of Heaven + Summer Palace)
