Meeting point was easy to find. The tour groups wear shirts with the tour company name on them which makes it easy to find them. The tour was great, guide was great. We learned a lot! The art was beautiful. Wear your walking shoes!

The hotel is very close to Rome Termini train station. There's a Chinese restaurant next door called Wangxianglou (or something similar), their boiled beef is pretty good. There's also a motorcycle rental shop; I have a license, so I rented a Vespa for 3 hours for 45 euros, it was a lot of fun. The hotel is typical European style, the rooms are quite small, and the elevator is especially small. But the facilities are decent, and the cleanliness is acceptable.

It was an excellent tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable and gave us extensive background on what we were looking at. She did a great job with condensing the tour to 2.5 hours and showing us a good selection of highlights in different areas. She is continuing to study for advanced certifications in different art ages. This is her profession and she loves it. Her group was recommended on the Les Frenchies YouTube channel.

The crowds outside were intense, but we walked straight in thanks to our reserved entry. Inside, our guide made the massive collection manageable and fascinating. Seeing the Sistine Chapel with fresh eyes and context was a highlight of our entire trip. Worth every cent.


