Reviews: Rome in a Day Tour with Vatican, Colosseum and Historic Center

This was a really long tour. Due to the Pope passing alway. We were not able to see the sistine Chapel. Our guide was good but had to show a lot and talk a lot about stuff we really didn’t want to hear.

Exceeded expectations with so much to explore and appreciate what was / is an incredible period of history. Booking in advance for a guided tour was so beneficial, no cues and an explanation of facts and what we were witnessing brought it to life.
Reviews: Colosseum Arena Floor, Roman Forum & Palatine Hill Tour

A fantastic Roman Forum, Palatine Hill, and Colosseum Arena tour, led by the wonderful Laura. Our group was a perfect size (11 people), and Laura’s passion, knowledge, and genuine love for Roman history really shone through. After meeting near the Crown Tours office and grabbing a refreshing coffee and sandwich at Café Polveriera, we headed to the Forum and Palatine Hill, where Laura truly brought ancient Rome to life — you could almost picture the traders and daily bustle of the city. A short walk took us to the Colosseum, and being part of a small group meant skipping the long queues with only a short wait to enter. A quick reminder: photo ID is essential — no ID, no entry — and there are multiple security checks, but once inside the arena it’s absolutely worth it. Standing so close really brings home how impressive (and terrifying) it must have been. A brilliant tour and well worth paying a little extra for a small group and such an exceptional guide.
