Mary reached out the day before via WhatsApp and answered my logistic questions. Overall Iām very happy I joined her tour. She is patient, upbeat, and explained well without being overwhelming. Perhaps Iām out of shape, but this ~5 hours walking tour was intense during the last hour or so. Be sure to wear comfiest shoes and bundled up! Also Iām glad Maryās notes did mention bringing drinks and snacks with you. The snack shops inside the Forbidden City were too long to wait.ā

I'll remember this day for a long time! I'll list the positive aspects: the bus picked us up on time, the air conditioning was on and it was very warm, and our guide, Jessie, was very kind and helpful! She speaks very good English! She explains everything very interestingly and in detail! I highly recommend coming here; we really enjoyed it!ā

It was an amazing experience, so organized and we left on time. Divina was the best, she contacted me the day before the trip, she always responded to my messages promptly. I was traveling solo so she recommended the perfect route for me, she even helped me when I was lost up there. Will definitely book again with you in October if I visit again as she recommended the view will be amazing! Even after we returned, she helped me find the metro station and helped me get the ticket. Heads up: the theater is in a hotel! We walked to the address given by Amap but couldn't find it. The theater is actually inside the hotel at the location shown on the map (see photo 1). The show was excellent! It's a great introduction to Peking Opera. It features three excerpts in different styles (comedy, dance, and tragedy), and the time flies! Small screens are placed on either side of the stage with subtitles and English translation, which helps with understanding and immersion in the story.ī„
